Sunday Recap. Let’s Tailgate!

Let’s Tailgate!

Kraft sends me these emails about recipes with cheese (very processed cheese, Oh how I love it so). Here is a link to their (OH so delish) tailgate recipes so you can enjoy the game in junk food heaven.  Also they are hosting Join the Huddle to give 20 million meals to hungry Americans.

On the ad front, I shift focus to Academy. They, being a sporting goods store, have focused on the upcoming hunting season, but when did that exclude hunting food and friends at the game. Some things include Boat cushion (great for the stadium seats) $9.99, Quick Shade Weekender (tent) $59.99, and a huge assortment of grills and coolers. We buy outdoor and clearance clothes there just because that is a great place to get basics for an inexpensive price.

School Supply Fix

Office Depot– If you missed the coupon it was on yesterday’s post. They are; however, offering up to 75% off fashion school supplies.

Micheal’s has an awesome 50% off one item coupon. I missed 20% today only, but it does now show that teachers save 15% everyday.

Wal-mart still has some school supply deals, but the real deals are the clearance items. We picked up a shower caddy for $2, a lamp for $5, and a crate system (similar to an inbox) for $3.  They also have their Mainstays towels advertised for $4.50.

If you shop with Ebates ,they are offering 10% off any one item and 4% back on your purchase at Barnes and Noble.

Arts Cow (who sent me an awesome free memo pad) has a personalized umbrella for only $16.99 each using the code FALLUMBR. The code gets you free shipping too.

They have back to school deals too on personalized items such as notebooks, memo pads, pencil cases, and blank books. All these are $1.99 and free shipping using the code BK2SCH10.

Kohl’s has a huge homecoming dress shop featuring $20-$30 deals. Stick that in your mum!

Target has some great “decorate your small space” deals

a bungee office chair for $29,

tables for $14 and ottomans $17,

$15 bronze frames

and a cube organizer for $36.

About schmeggo

Hi there and welcome to my little piece of web. I am a wife, a step mom, mom, and a teacher among other things. I am addicted to school supplies and getting things for as little as possible. During July and August I spend Sundays coming the papers and stalking my local Staples trying to find items at prices that I can get over 120 of them. During the school year, this is a personal blog of educational interest. I am by no means an expert on education and child rearing, but through trial and error, I hope we can help each other out. Whether you are buying for one or one-hundred, kindergarten to college, I hope that my little web space can help you find something trendy or cheap to make back to school on any day easier.
